Overview

Commerce Capstone Project is a culminating, interdisciplinary course in which students investigate a significant business problem or opportunity and develop a defensible solution, strategic recommendation, or professional deliverable. The course integrates accounting, economics, finance, management, marketing, business analytics, research methods, and professional practice.

Students scope a project, analyse stakeholders, review academic and industry evidence, design and conduct appropriate research, evaluate qualitative and quantitative data, assess risk and feasibility, and develop implementation plans, budgets, and evaluation metrics. The course culminates in a substantial written report and professional presentation or approved equivalent, supported by appropriate evidence and scholarly referencing.
