Overview
This advanced course examines the formulation, communication, and execution of strategy in complex and changing organizational environments. Students analyze the relationship between leadership behavior, organizational performance, competitive positioning, and sustainable value creation.
The course develops applied capability in strategic thinking, environmental scanning, competitive analysis, stakeholder management, ethical leadership, corporate governance, organizational culture, change leadership, innovation, digital transformation, risk management, and sustainability. Students use SWOT, PESTLE, Porter’s Five Forces, stakeholder mapping, value-chain analysis, scenario planning, and balanced scorecards to evaluate strategic alternatives and develop evidence-based implementation plans.

- Analyze strategic alternatives in relation to organizational purpose, competitive position, risk, ethics, and sustainability.
- Synthesize leadership theory and organizational behavior principles to explain performance, culture, and readiness for change.
- Develop a compelling strategic direction aligned with organizational vision, mission, objectives, and stakeholder expectations.
- Design evidence-based approaches for leading change, managing resistance, fostering innovation, and supporting digital transformation.
- Assess corporate governance practices and ethical considerations in strategic decision-making.
- Construct and justify a comprehensive strategic implementation plan using objectives, performance measures, resource requirements, timelines, and risk controls.
- Communicate strategic recommendations persuasively to diverse organizational and stakeholder audiences.
