Develop advanced skills in data management, statistical modelling, machine learning, and evidence-based decision-making. This major prepares students to design, analyse, and communicate data-driven solutions across diverse professional and research contexts.
Apply statistical theory and data science methods to biological, medical, and health research. Students develop expertise in biostatistical modelling, study design, longitudinal analysis, and survival data analysis.
Use data and analytical methods to understand population health, evaluate interventions, and strengthen health systems. The major combines public health evidence methods with advanced data science and health data systems.
Explore spatial data, geographic information systems, remote sensing, and advanced geospatial modelling. Students learn to interpret spatial patterns and develop data-driven insights into environmental, geographic, and earth system challenges.
