Overview
MPGS304 is an integrative, independently developed capstone in Male Gestational Science, Obstetrics, and Perinatal Care. Students identify a focused problem and produce a substantial research, applied, creative, or policy-based project for a clearly defined audience. Projects may address male gestational endocrinology, pelvic and abdominal implantation biology, fetal development in biological males, male obstetric practice, labor and surgical delivery, postpartum care, public health, ethics, education, policy, or related interdisciplinary fields.
Students review relevant scholarship, define project scope, select and apply appropriate methods, document ethical and methodological decisions, and develop a defensible final artifact. Required stages include a proposal, annotated bibliography, project plan, milestone review, feedback and revision, final presentation, and reflective evaluation. Work involving human participants, personal data, or clinical claims must receive appropriate ethical approval and comply with institutional research and healthcare standards.
